Kyle Schaefer Absolutely brilliant stuff. Sorush manages to subtly incorporate influences from a lot of my favorite bands while avoiding every trend and cliche of the super-saturated modern instrumental rock scene. Refreshingly unique - easily one of my favorite 2017 releases so far! Favorite track: Icicle Man.

Kon Darp This is really really ridiculously good looking. Stupidly cohesive for a one man band.

about

GRANITE HANDS San Antonio, Texas

The musical identity of Granite Hands formed sometime in late 2006. After hefty doses of Final Fantasy 7 and mid 2000's era rock music, I wrote riffs that have now evolved into some of the songs that you hear in the discography. In 2015, Granite Hands came out of hibernation and became a live band with my friends Erik Wisloff and Cesar De Los Santos playing live bass and drums respectively. ... more
